Right now over 3,000 college students from all over the US are arriving at over 80 summer projects in locations around the world. They will encounter rich fellowship, discipleship, and daily opportunities to step out in faith! Aside from the thousands of people who will be exposed to the gospel through conversations with these students, this will serve as a spiritual “greenhouse” that will grow their faith! One summer project that takes place right here at headquarters will have three of those students join our team as designers for the summer. Please join us in praying that God would work in mighty ways in these students’ lives.
We wanted to share a few encouraging items that were brought to our attention as we worked on a video which highlighted ministry accomplishments of 2011. Here are a few:
•Nearly 3,000 students showed up for our
Korean-American winter conferences at the
end of last year.
•Over 23,000 students and faculty are
actively sharing the power of the gospel on
•At the University of Iowa, over 1,500 students crammed into a 1,000-seat venue to attend an outreach with an illusionist called the “Maze.”
•Over the last 2 ½ years, Shawna Sharpe, in the National Campus Office, has engaged in 943 live chat conversations on Everystudent.com, many in closed countries—and 29 people have made decisions for Christ through her!

Our kids have wrapped up a great school year; we are so thankful for their teachers and for how they’ve grown and developed. This summer, David will be taking two seminary courses that our ministry offers for staff development.
