Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. (Psalms 34:5 ESV)
I love the idea that this verse captures. When we keep our focus on God we will be radiant. Our countenance will reflect the strength, peace, love that he gives.
I want to do that, but too often my focus is on my circumstances, my to do list, my struggles. I choose to use my kids looking up with glowing faces to convey this message. I think it takes childlike faith and trust that our Daddy is strong, he will take care of us, delights in us, brings joy.
