Thank you for praying for the trip to France and England last month. David and his teammates were able to record 40 episodes (20 in each language) that engage in different subjects (like forgiveness and salvation) and are intended to be used for discipleship. There were some challenges along the way on both sides of the pond, like opening the laundry room and smelling smoke (home), or having to record in a creaky-floored place with a concerned owner (France). However, things came together in both locations. David will be editing the episodes this summer.
Please pray they would come together well!
School’s Out for Summer
(First day of kindergarten for both)
The kids are finished with school!!! Mikayla is a middle-schooler in the fall (she might be more ready than we are!), and she also gets to be part of “the Element” at church which is geared for middle and high school students.
We’d appreciate prayers for her as she enters this next stage of life!
We partner closely with a Cru film team in Austin, Texas, called Simple Bulldog. They finished their film, “Marea.” It was shot in Malta, in the Mediterranean Sea, and is a serious heartstring-tugging film about refugees. Watch it here. Spiritual conversations can be started by asking viewers who they identified with in the film, and what they thought of the film overall.
Heather will be taking 4 weeks of seminary courses this summer. Before leaving the office, she had the cool chance to create designs for our outreach that will happen in Poland during World Youth days! 2-3 million youth will gather in Krakow, Poland. We have hundreds of volunteers that will man cell phone charging stations and engage in spiritual conversations with attendees. Heather also helped to create a gospel presentation in several languages to be used. Please pray God would be at work drawing people to himself!
