Ebi is from Mongolia, and when he was six years old he received Christ after watching the Jesus Film. However he still spent his life striving for worth that was tied to his performance in basketball. He even got to the professional level of the sport in Mongolia only to realize it didn’t satisfy him as he hoped it would. Athletes in Action (another Cru ministry) visited Mongolia and helped him in his walk with Christ.
Ebi later married an American woman on staff with AIA, and this summer he joined the staff of Cru. The new staff who go through some training in Orlando this summer take a day to tour Cru’s headquarters. As Ebi and his wife went through the Jesus Film tour, he pointed to a picture and remarked that he was in that audience in the back! Now, 25 years later, he will work to share the purpose and satisfaction that comes from knowing Christ with others!

Digital tools enabled the gospel to be shared easily in many languages, through God Tools, short films and more,” said Tom Seely.
“God opened the door for us to present the gospel in a clear way, and thousands of people could hear the gospel,” said staff member Marek Matuszczak. “I never felt like the harvest was so ripe and the workers so few,” said Valerie Seely, a staff member in Eastern Europe.
