What God has been doing in our ministry.
The JESUS Film Project
There are 1,500 translations and counting of the JESUS Film—it is the most-translated movie in history. It has been shown in every country of the world, and over 340 million people worldwide have accepted Christ after viewing the film!
Jay, a worker in Ghana, took several students to show Walking With JESUS (Africa), a 5-part JESUS film follow-up series contextualized for Africans. The movie teaches new believers how to grow in their relationship with Christ and models Christian discipleship. Many people in the village they visited worshiped idols and feared retaliation if they became Christians. The team showed the film to 250 people, and 90 indicated decisions and renewed commitments. Jay says he has found this tool that deals with idol worship especially helpful. Walking with Jesus Africa is one of the narrative films that David’s team created.
Tom was riding a bus and noticed that the driver, James, had an accent. He learned James was from Kenya, and asked what language he spoke. He pulled up that language on the JESUS Film Media app, and emailed James the link. Later that day, Tom got an email reply from him saying how much he enjoyed watching the JESUS Film in his heart language of Luo, and had sent the link to a number of his friends in the US and in Kenya!

See how the Gamo people of Ethiopia respond when they see the JESUS Film for the first time!
The JESUS Film project seeing the power of story to communicate and the increasing media savvyness of the global audience created the team we now work on to produce new media projects. We create short films that act as visual parables and draw people into spiritual discussions. Many are on the JESUS Film media app, and others can be found on the Global Short Film Network site. They have questions that come with the films to help prompt discussion!
We have also helped with a number of short trainings that help others worldwide produce their own short films.
